Adlyno ("we", "us") operates the Adlyno price-comparison website and mobile application. Who we are
Adlyno is a price-comparison service that aggregates offers from third-party merchants. This policy applies to our website and mobile app. For any privacy question, reach us through the contact page. We act as the business responsible for the personal information described below.
Information we collect
Account data you provide (name, email address, password in hashed form) when you create an account; your saved selection, price alerts and preferences; technical and usage data (device type, operating system, app version, IP address, approximate country/region, pages and products viewed); and cookies or similar identifiers. We do not collect payment-card data — purchases happen on the merchant's own site.
How we use your information
To provide and operate the service (accounts, saved selection, price alerts, recommendations); to send notifications you asked for; to measure and improve performance and security; to prevent fraud and abuse; to display advertising; and to comply with legal obligations. We rely on your consent for optional features (alerts, personalised ads) and on our legitimate business need to run and secure the service.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies (to keep you signed in and remember your country and language), analytics cookies to understand usage, and advertising cookies. You can manage or refuse non-essential cookies through your browser or device settings; blocking some cookies may affect certain features.
Advertising and affiliate links
Our website shows ads via Google AdSense and our app via Google AdMob; these partners may use device or advertising identifiers and cookies to serve personalised or non-personalised ads (see policies.google.com/technologies/ads). Adlyno also earns affiliate commissions when you click through to a merchant and make a purchase, at no extra cost to you; the merchant then handles your interaction on its own site under its privacy policy.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the service (hosting, analytics, advertising, notifications) under contract, and where required by law. Some providers may process data outside Canada (for example in the United States); your information may then be subject to that country's laws, and we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Retention and security
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal requirements, then delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your rights (Canada)
You may access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, and delete your account at any time from your settings or by contacting us. Subject to legal limits, you may also request portability or object to certain processing. If you have a concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec for Quebec residents.
